Nothing wrong with being introduced to new songs and artists. Of course, there will be some tracks on there that some people will never have heard of. They will, therefore, appeal to many more people than if they had limited the styles. The good thing about this series of CDs is that they cover a wide range of country styles. It ends on the last disc with more modern country songs featuring Shania Twain and Linda Rondstadt. By that we mean perhaps more country and western, grand old opry country music. The discs cover a wide range of material from very early country-folk music, what the purists call ‘real’ country. It was first released in 2009 on Sybersound records.
